VillageUp is a social payment platform and mobile application that provides the At Risk Warrior with the tools he or she needs to meet the challenges of transitioning from military to civilian life.
Developed by Four Corner Payments, a financial technology company headquartered in Oakland, California, VillageUp’s p2p (person-to-person) technology allows for financial transactions and data to flow through a secure private village using an EMV Chip Card backed by the security and trust of Visa or MasterCard.
VillageUp for the At Risk Warrior is an incentive and reward program using local community support to help At Risk Warrior’s build healthy, well living and mindfulness practices when they return home.
Using the power of a payments processor along with local community banks as issuers of the VillageUp Prepaid Visa the beta program will be launched in 2017 as a Minimal Viable Product and licensed to Operation Wounded Minds during the case study to to better understand how the App can best be used.
Applications for participants for the case study will begin in June of 2017. Please check back for further details.
